Disposable Virus Sampling Tube
Disposable virus sampling tubes, made of high-quality medical-grade polymer materials, are used for collecting, transporting, and storing virus samples. They contain a transport medium to maintain virus viability and are widely utilized in testing for various pathogens such as influenza, coronaviruses, and HIV.
When using a disposable virus sampling tube, first disinfect it, then follow the sampling guide to insert the swab into the patient's throat or nasal cavity, rotate gently for a few seconds to collect cells. Next, insert the swab into the sampling tube containing the transport medium, ensuring the swab head is fully immersed in the liquid. Finally, seal the sampling tube, label it, and send it to the laboratory for analysis.
Various tube sizes, such as 2ml, 5ml, and 10ml, meet different sample collection needs. The tubes feature a large area for writing marks for noting sampling information. They can be used with inactivation or non-inactivation virus preservation solutions, catering to various clinical requirements.
