Cervical Cancer Population Screening At-home HPV Self-Sampling Solution
Cervical cancer is one of the common malignancies affecting women. Persistent infection with high-risk HPV is its primary risk factor. Early screening and intervention play a vital role in cervical cancer prevention. Regular HPV testing helps detect viral infection early and stop the progression of pre-cancerous lesions.
Many women miss hospital-based sampling due to time limits or psychological discomfort, resulting in low screening coverage. At-home HPV self-sampling solves the drawbacks of traditional in-clinic sampling and supports large-scale population cervical cancer screening.
MandeLab’s MSK-HSK001 HPV Self-Sampling Kit provides reliable sampling consumables for grassroots screening and women’s health check programmes.
HPV self-sampling devices solve this issue, women handle sampling themselves and send the samples to the lab for testing. As a comfortable and convenient screening method, HPV self-sampling is gradually replacing the traditional HPVscreening. The self-sampling can be completed in many places, such as bathroom, locker room and bedroom.
Independently developed by MandeLab, the MSK-HSK001 kit includes a flocked self-sampling device and 2 mL HPV preservation buffer, individually packed in sterile packaging. Specimens collected with this kit are suitable for both HPV nucleic acid testing and TCT cytology, well suited for population screening. It solves the common problem of insufficient cell volume in self-sampling to ensure qualified samples.
Gynecological design balances sampling performance and safety:
· Soft flocked tip efficiently captures exfoliated vaginal epithelial cells for high cell recovery
· Butterfly-wing depth limiter controls insertion depth and reduces operational risks
· Non-slip handle for stable grip during sampling
· Easy break-point design for convenient operation
Verified by lab tests and field applications, the kit shows stable performance.
The flocked swab is ideal for collecting large amount of cells and rapid elution of the specimens that instantly releases the cells into the transport medium. Our sterile flocked swabs are made in GMP workshop with superior quality, we have CE 0197-MDR, FDA, TGA and MHRA.
The preservation buffer stabilizes HPV nucleic acid during transport and avoids nucleic acid degradation, lowering false-negative risks and ensuring reliable test results.
Applications
Large-scale population cervical cancer screening, medical examination centres, maternal and child health projects, third-party clinical laboratories.
Compared with conventional clinician sampling, at-home self-sampling improves participant acceptance and reduces project costs, expanding screening access. Our standardized consumables deliver sample quality comparable to clinician-taken specimens, enabling affordable and accessible early cervical cancer screening to protect women’s health.
